Notice of Fraudulent Job Offers
Unauthorized individuals are using the Arcadia brand in fraudulent job offer schemes. These schemes may attempt to solicit personal information, financial details, or request money from job seekers when pretending to offer employment.
What is Recruitment Fraud?
Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scam that involves offering fake job opportunities to job seekers. This type of fraud is typically carried out through online services such as false websites or fake emails claiming to be from the company.
Fraudsters often ask recipients to provide personal information, such as social security number, date of birth, and bank account information. They may also offer fraudulent employment opportunities to applicants and ask candidates to make payments as part of their fake recruiting process, such as arranging travel for in-person interviews with a specific travel agency or purchasing computer and office equipment.
