Chief Analytics Officer
Chris Lester is the Chief Analytics Officer at Arcadia, a leading data platform for healthcare. He leads a team of data scientists and data analysts who work with Arcadia customers to surface novel insights that solve complex business challenges. Chris also manages the analytics suite of Arcadia’s product portfolio that enables customers to improve patient care, streamline operations, and accelerate value-based initiatives with out-of-the-box insights.
Chris previously served as Vice President of Product Strategy and Analytics at CareJourney, the data science and insights company that Arcadia acquired in 2024. There, Chris oversaw the development of novel algorithms that power performance intelligence products and led the company’s research and partnerships arm.
Before bringing his data analytics skills to healthcare, Chris served as a Graduate Fellow at the Department of Energy, where he sifted through petabytes of data for new particle signatures at the Large Hadron Collider. Chris’ efforts contributed to the discovery of the Higgs Boson, a particle central to the Standard Model of Particle Physics.
Chris earned his Doctorate degree in experimental particle physics from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in physics and German literature from Duke University. When he’s not putting data to work to change healthcare, Chris enjoys cycling, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two children. He also inspires the next generation of scientists by speaking to students about STEM careers.
