Karen Thomas-Smith is the Chief Marketing Officer at Arcadia, a healthcare data and analytics platform that helps payers and providers put their data to work so they can transform healthcare. She leads Arcadia’s market strategy and ensures customers understand how the company’s solutions deliver actionable insights that drive better outcomes in population health and value-based care. To achieve this, Karen leads a dynamic team of creative marketers united by a shared passion for innovation and impactful storytelling.
Karen joined Arcadia in 2025, bringing 20+ years of global experience in healthcare and technology. Her leadership across sales, marketing, product, customer success, and operations has consistently driven transformative growth and innovation. Recognized twice on TopRank Marketing's “50 Influential Women in Digital Marketing” list, Karen is also celebrated for her insights on leadership, talent development, and corporate culture, which she has shared through appearances on prominent programs, including Oprah and 60 Minutes.
Karen graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She lives in North Carolina and treasures family time at the beach with her husband and identical twin daughters.
