Build Your Organization’s Leadership Capabilities for Success in Value Based Care

An Executive Education and Networking Summit Hosted by Arcadia

September 14, 2018 in Eugene, Oregon

Moving to value based care means rethinking every element of your operations from financial reporting to post-acute care. Not only must you lead your organizations through this transformation from the top, but you must also develop and nurture “local leaders” on the ground – medical directors and other physicians and providers who have direct responsibility for executing your organization’s value based care strategy. Please join us for a morning of practical, hands-on advice from healthcare leaders who have successfully shepherded their organizations through this transformation.

  • Nancy Steiger, RN is the former chief executive officer of PeaceHealth’s Columbus Network, an expert on healthcare leadership team development, and an “exceptional mentor and coach”. She now offers executive services through Nancy Steiger Consulting.
  • Rich Parker, MD is the former chief medical officer of Beth Israel Deaconess Care Organization, where he led his 2,220-physician organization through the transition from fee-for-service to value based care to become one of the top-performing ACOs in the country. Dr. Parker is now the chief medical officer at, where he writes the popular “Ask Dr. Parker” advice column for leaders in value based care.

In addition to the presentations and moderated discussions, attendees will have ample time for discussions with peers and will be able to take home research from Arcadia and industry analysts.

Please note: this summit is designed for leaders of healthcare systems in the Pacific Northwest, and attendance is by invitation only to ensure participants have time for learning and discussion with peers. If you are interested in participating, please email
