Carlos Ferrer
Peloton Equity, Co-founder and Partner
Carlos is a Partner at Peloton Equity. He co-founded Ferrer Freeman & Company (FFC) in 1995 and also serves as a Partner at FFC. Carlos currently serves on the Boards of AgaMatrix, Arcadia Solutions, Health Plan One, K2M (NASDAQ: KTWO), and Medical Depot (d/b/a Drive Medical). Prior investment activity includes Amerigroup (IPO), Ardent (acquired by Ventas, Inc. and Equity Group Investments®), Concentra (acquired by Humana), MultiPlan (acquired by BC Partners & Silver Lake), Physicians Dialysis (acquired by DaVita), Preferred Care Partners (acquired by UnitedHealth), United Surgical Partners International (IPO), Vitalize Consulting Solutions (acquired by SAIC), Volcano (IPO), and Xcel Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Valeant Pharmaceuticals), among others while at FFC. Prior to joining FFC, Carlos was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1989 through 1995, responsible for the firm’s investment banking activities in the healthcare industry. He joined CS First Boston in 1978 and, beginning in 1982, started and developed CS First Boston’s healthcare investment banking group. Carlos holds a B.A. degree from Princeton University.
